Sometimes I dread going to work, and by sometimes, I mean most/all of the time.
Here is something that I sometimes remember to do that makes it bearable/fun.
I pretend I'm a spy on a secret mission. So the job is not actually working at a fast food restuarant, delivering mail, selling real estate, it becomes something more. Tasks that might cause anxiety before are nothing because that's not the real mission.
I haven't elaborated or practiced this technique too often, but in the new year, I definitely plan on exploring it.
There's a wonderful quote from an unknown source, "To a wise man, everyday is a new life." How freeing that is, what potential lies in that mindset!
